Dear Mover

This 10-session workshop invites dancers to journey inward—exploring personal experiences, emotions, and memories—and translating them into movement. Through guided prompts and creative exploration, you’ll develop your own choreography that reflects a moment, season, or story from your life.

This is a space for movers who are open to creating independently. You don’t need to have everything figured out—but you should be willing to move freely, explore honestly, and spend time dancing on your own.

Not focused on perfect technique or polished routines, Dear Mover is about authenticity, storytelling, and discovering what your movement can say.

✨ Come if you’re ready to explore

✨ Come if you’re open to creating

✨ Come if you’re comfortable moving solo

Leave with a piece that is fully yours.

HSIN YEE

Hsin Yee began training in and performing contemporary dance as a teenager in School of the Arts Singapore, and later joined National University of Singapore’s contemporary dance group led by notable artist-choreographers Yarra Ileto and Albert Tiong. Highlights of her dance journey include performing in the Sibu International Arts Festival 2017, and the Esplanade’s Huayi Festival 2019.

More recently, Hsin Yee has been using her training to help equip others through dance classes in Thread, and telling stories inspired by God in her dance-video series titled “Hallelujah”.

TRIXIE

A passionate worshipper and dancer, Trixie began her journey in movement at the age of four through ballet, later embracing contemporary dance as part of her training and expression. Over time, what began as a love for the art form has grown into a powerful, Spirit-led offering—where dance becomes more than movement; it becomes worship, a sacred dialogue with the Lord.

With a heart to teach and disciple through the arts, Trixie is committed to creating a space where individuals from every background can encounter God through dance. Whether stepping into this for the first time or returning after a season away, you’ll be welcomed, guided, and encouraged every step of the way.

Together, let us pursue His presence, express His heart, and move in step with His Spirit. Through worship in dance, may lives be touched, atmospheres transformed, and His glory revealed.
