Thread Dance Centre had the joy and privilege of teaching a prophetic dance workshop in Kuala Lumpur, hosted in collaboration with Damansara Utama Methodist Church and Kajang Assembly of God. We covered discerning our role as worshippers, using creative movement to impact communities, leading and nurturing a dance ministry, and practical ways dance can minister. Participants also enjoyed flags and Hip Hop classes.

We were thrilled to welcome many who had never experienced prophetic dance before—people who came eager to learn, willing to share vulnerably, and who danced with whole hearts. Many dance leaders stepped forward to ask questions on how to disciple younger dancers; we love that THREAD can support them in ways more than just dancing. It was a beautiful reminder that movement opens doors to worship, healing, and community, and that when we step out together, God meets us in the dance.
